Nick came to Los Angeles with dreams of making it in music and gets a job at the Hotel Bel-Air. What ensues is the best/worst summer ever, as Nick gets a taste of fame and finds unlikely soul connections. Inspired by the true story of composer Niko’s time as a pool boy at the Hotel Bel-Air.

Eight teenagers set out on an outdoor wilderness adventure in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana. When their guide mysteriously disappears and the FBI shows up looking for him, these diverse and seemingly incompatible characters struggle to overcome their biases and personal differences as they embark on a journey of survival and self-discovery. An earthy and passionate score holds them together as they discover their true purpose for being in the wild.
BIO
Recent Works: Into the Wild, commissioned by Perseverance Theater and developed at Berkeley Rep Ground Floor, Pool Boy at Barrington Stage, Vrooommm! A NASComedy published by Samuel French, Speed Date, Incognito, Loyal, Painted Rain and Untold Crimes of Insomniacs, published by Playscripts, Inc. My musical The Unknown: A Silent Movie Musical won a Jonathan Larson Award with P73 Productions and appeared at NYMF. My work has been seen at The Guthrie Lab, The Kennedy Center, Mixed Blood, Playwrights Horizons, Yale Rep, The Yale Cabaret, The Women’s Project, Perseverance Theatre, Joe’s Pub, Barrington Stage, with P73 Productions, and Internationally in Ireland, England, Greece, Australia and New Zealand. I am a Fulbright Fellow, have an M.F.A in Playwriting from the Yale School of Drama, have studied at the NYU Musical Theatre Writing program and teach at University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
